These are the groups for the Copa Libertadores 2025

Reigning Copa Libertadores champions Botafogo will be looking to add another title to their trophy cabinet in the group stage, where they will face Estudiantes de la Plata, Universidad de Chile and Carabobo, according to the draw held on Monday in the Paraguayan city of Luque.
Botafogo, which defeated Atletico Mineiro 1-3 in the 2024 final to be crowned Copa Libertadores champion for the first time, heads Group A of the 66th edition.
Four-time Libertadores champion River Plate, at the top of Group B, was paired with Ecuadorians Independiente del Valle and Barcelona, as well as Universitario.
Flamengo, winner of two titles in the competition, heads Group C with Liga de Quito, a former champion, Deportivo Táchira and Central Córdoba.
Reigning Copa Sudamericana champions Racing Club will meet Colo Colo, Fortaleza and Atletico Bucaramanga in Group E.
Sao Paulo and Palmeiras, three-time Libertadores champions, head Groups D and G, respectively. 32 teams will play in the group stage of the Copa Libertadores. Of these, 28 qualified directly and 4 came from Phase 3.
The first and second place teams in this phase will advance directly to the round of 16.
This is how the groups were drawn up:
Group A: Botafogo (BRA), Estudiantes de la Plata (ARG), Universidad de Chile (CHI) and Carabobo (VEN).
Group B: River Plate (ARG), Independiente del Valle (ECU), Universitario (PER) and Barcelona (ECU).
Group C: Flamengo (BRA), Liga Deportiva Universitaria de Quito (ECU), Deportivo Táchira (VEN) and Central Córdoba (ARG).
Group D: São Paulo (BRA), Libertad (PAR), Talleres (ARG) and Alianza Lima (PER).
Group E: Racing Club (ARG), Colo Colo (CHI), Fortaleza (BRA) and Atlético Bucaramanga (COL).
