'Daily Mail' assure that Manchester United have taken a step forward for the transfer of Donny Van de Beek, a player who has been on the English sides' agenda for several weeks.
A hard competitor for clubs such as Real Madrid and Everton, who have also set their eyes on the Ajax player to strengthen their midfield for next season.
But the English newspaper assures that United's interest goes further. It seems that the Old Trafford men see Van de Beek as the ideal man to replace Paul Pogba, who hasn't stopped being linked with a move away.
Real Madrid in particular, as well as Juventus, want the world champion, an exit of a huge player which can only be covered by a player of similar quality, and it's none other than the 23-year-old Dutchman.
United aren't stopping insisting on Van de Beek, knowing that the player's own opinion will be very important for his future, although it does not look like he will be able to leave Amsterdam for less than 50 million euros.
