'Neymar again?! If he misses the game, he misses the game...'

The PSG centre-back gave an interview with 'Le Parisien', where he analyzed his side's round of 16 clash with Real. The Frenchman spoke about what he believed to be the reasons for his side leaving the Bernabeu as the losers. 

"Maybe it was a lack of experience, but I wouldn't say it was through a lack of performance. In any case, we still have the second leg. We still have time to talk about it," Kimpembe assured. 

Another topic that the interview touched on was that of the injury, operation and absence of Neymar, something which the defender is clearly tired of talking about, by the sounds of it. 

"Neymar again?!" he said with frustration. "Neymar here, Neymar there...I don't know what else to say. If he misses the game, he misses the game."

"The manager will call on other players. It hurts us, and we know he is an important player for the team. We are all hurt, and we will try to get through to the next round for him, but the team comes first," the Frenchman added. 

After it was confirmed that Neymar would miss the game against Madrid, it seems that Angel Di Maria will be the one to fill the Brazilian's shoes. The ex-Real Madrid forward demonstrated his ability to step up to the plate as he scored a brace in PSG's cup game against Marseille. 

Despite the fact that the Madrid game is just around the corner, Kimpembe wants to concentrate on his side's upcoming game against Troyes for the moment. After this, it will be time for Zidane's side to travel to Paris. 

"We will enjoy this victory before we face Real Madrid. Meanwhile, we have another game. We are preparing well for it.", the defender concluded.
