Everton's fortunes looked to have changed when Sam Allardyce came in, after a disastrous start to the season under Ronald Koeman, but their current run of form has them nervously looking over their shoulders once again. After being mauled 5-1 at Arsenal last weekend, Walcott is keen to ensure that the 'Toffees' see themselves through to safety at the end of the season.
"Results will change, I am sure of it," he told Evertonfc.com.
He went on to talk about Allardyce and the effect he has had on the players. "I had that short stint with Sam with England, and to see it now every day, the way the intensity of training is and how demanding it is, has been great," the former Arsenal man said.
Everton famously have played the most seasons in England's top divison of any club and Allardyce will be keen to ensure he doesn't tarnish that reputation or his own, after inheriting a squad that had seen heavy investment over the summer.
