Chelsea are working on the transfer window. And he knows which is one of the areas in which most reinforcements are needed. The departure of Antonio Rudiger to Real Madrid and the departure of Andreas Christensen, who will not stay at Stamford Bridge, force the Blues to bolster their defence.
According to 'The Daily Mail', Milan Skriniar is one of the targets to strengthen the defence. The 27 year-old central defender, who also counts on the interest of PSG, sees his contract expire in June 2023. As things stand, the Italian side, if they are unable to renew him, will have to listen to offer if he does not want to let him leave for free on 1st July 2023.
But the Slovakian is not the only player linked with Chelsea. Gianluca de Marzio says that Nathan Ake is also on the West London club's plans. The 27 year-old central defender has a contract at Man City until 2025.
Skriniar has had his fifth season at Inter Milan, where he arrived in 2017 from Sampdoria. This season, he has broken numerous records: he started in the 48 matches he played for and played a total of 4320 minutes. He also scored four goals.
Ake, who is also being followed by Newcastle, has not had that role of indisputable starter like the Slovakian. He played 1653 minutes in 26 matches for Man City and he started 18 of them. The Dutchman left the academy from Chelsea, the club which he left, after several loan deals, in 2017 to sign for Bournemouth.
