Russia:
Midfielder Roman Zobnin has been ruled out of the fixture so CSKA Moscow's Alan Dzagoev is set to replace him whilst Russia will also make a change in goal as Andrey Lunev is given his chance to stake his World Cup claim.
France:
Expect quite a few changes following that surprise loss to Colombia, with Paul Pogba, Ousmane Dembele, Anthony Martial and Theo Hernandez all pushing for a place in the starting XI but Florian Thauvin will play no part after sustaining a hamstring injury.
Given Hugo Lloris' shaky presence in goal, Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Alphonse Areola could also be given the nod.
Russia head coach Stanislav Cherchesov:
“The defeat [to Brazil] did not make us very happy and we held a little meeting. Tomorrow we have a chance to redeem ourselves. We want to show much better quality against France.”
France manager Didier Deschamps:
“I am not thinking about the defeat, we have a new match to look forward to. Now is the time to give playing time to those who have not had it, ahead of the final decisions. I will not change my approach due to Friday’s result.
“As always, there will be debates over players and positions. Everyone who is there has the chance to play. I want to put as many players as possible in game situations.”

Prediciton:
France's quality will prove too much for the World Cup hosts who will end up losing 2-1.
