Roma no longer interested in Ronaldo's signing

Cristiano Ronaldo's interview with Piers Morgan will change his future. According to 'The Sun', Manchester United will sue the striker for his statements and force him to find a different club after the World Cup.
The Italian side were targeting Ronaldo in order to sign him. However, Roma sporting director Tiago Pinto denied the rumours: "He has never been an option for us."
"We have never opened talks to sign him. Maybe they linked 'CR7' with us because he is Portuguese just like our coach, but it wasn't like that," he added at the 'Thinking Football Summit' event in Porto.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo has returned to training with Portugal after overcoming a digestive issue that prevented him from taking part in the friendly match against Nigeria.
