Robinho wants to return to Santos. The former Real Madrid and Man City man is willing to play for next to nothing.
Santos are awaiting a FIFA ban for not paying Hamburg three million euros for Cleber Reis. Their financial problems would normally making signing Robinho impossible.
But the attacker, 'Globoesporte' reports, is willing to earn just 10 reales a month (1.50 euros). Next to nothing.
Santos and Robinho's plan is for the footballer to earn that salary in his first season while in the second season, he could earn more.
"Making clear the respect we have for our idol Robinho, I'll be waiting for player's agent from this Saturday to sign the player. I reiterate the need to sign as soon as possible as Santos, sadly, will receive a ban and we have little time," club president Orlando Rollo said.
