Sergio Ramos did not bite his tongue after the Levante v Real Madrid match. "It seems like you can't talk to the referee. You are either arrogant or you are not,,, There are times that the referee's decisions seem premeditated," he said after the match. Comments which could cost him dearly.
According to 'Mundo Deportivo', the Spanish FA could report Ramos' comments to the Competition Committee if they deem it is right to.
It is not the first time a player has criticised a referee. The Catalan paper recalls what Busquets said after a game with Real Sociedad. On that occasion, the Barca player's comments were not reported after he said that the referee did not want to give Barcelona a penalty.
If there is an official complaint against him, Ramos could miss the Clasico against Barcelona on 1st March. In any case, it remains to be seen whether the player's comments are sent to the Competition committee. The Spanish FA (RFEF) will make the final decision.
