Domenico Berardi has kept on being linked with a new club. The sought after Italian international has a contract with Sassuolo until June 2024, but that has not prevented several clubs asking about his move.
AC Milan are among those interested and they were in the best position to get Berardi. However, another Italian side have recently joined the race.
They are Napoli, who is willing to pay the 40 million euros which Sassuolo are asking for the player, who will turn 28 this summer.
'Sport Mediaset' says that the 14 goals and as many assists he has in 31 competitive matches this season have sparked the interest of the Neapolitans.
