Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first Serie A goals as Juventus comfortably beat Sassuolo 2-1 on Sunday afternoon in Turin. The ‘Old Lady’ proved too much for the black and greens as they powered away from them in the second half, despite a late scare.
Juventus are off to the perfect start in Serie A this season with nine points from three games, but that has been without direct contribution from Cristiano Ronaldo. The goalkeepers from Chievo, Lazio and Parma have all succeeded in keeping him from scoring and it is now up to Sassuolo's shot-stopper, Andrea Consigli, to continue the trend.
