Join us for live coverage of the Premier League clash between Manchester United and Chelsea from the Old Trafford. A huge match in the race for the last Champions League spot up for grabs. The Blues are third with 65 points and the Red Devils are 6th with 54 points, looking to close the gap on Tottenham.
FT: Man United 1-1 Chelsea! A point apiece. The second-half comes to an end, with United holding on to keep Chelsea at bay and share the points! Ronaldo's equaliser a minute after Chelsea's long-awaited opener did spark some life into the home side, but it was still the Blues who remained in control, but couldn't find the net again, and head home from Old Trafford ruing two points dropped, rather than one gained!
Chelsea sub: Ruben Loftus-Cheek replaces N'Golo Kante.
81'
Reece James earns a corner for Blues.
80'
Oh how unlucky! Almost a goal that Reece James deserves, Mason Mount's backheel is a gem to pick out James, who curls left-footed past David De Gea but onto the post. Thomas Tuchel turns away.
Man United double sub: Nemanja Matic is replaced by Jones. Juan Mata on for Marcus Rashford. The Spanish player turns 34 today!
75'
Jorginho needs a touch of treatment after Bruno Fernandes fell on his knee, the Italian is able to continue though. The game has gone a bit flat after that flurry of activity.
Chelsea double sub: Pulisic on for Timo Werner and Lukaku replaces Kai Havertz.
67'
Reece James continues his field day down the right wing but this time his cross is charged down by Nemanja Matic, with the two of them tussling off the ball afterwards. It's broken up and we go on.
65'
We've got a game on our hands. What a few minutes of Premier League action! Seven in his last three at Old Trafford for the old magician.
GOAL for Man United! Man United 1-1 Chelsea! Out of nowhere! That goal seemingly wakes Manchester United up and they fashion an absolutely cracking equaliser. Nemanja Matic lifts a beauty of a ball over the Chelsea backline, Cristiano Ronaldo is onside to bring it down and thump the ball into the roof of the net from a tight angle. Classy response.
GOAL for Chelsea! Man United 0-1 Chelsea! There it is! A goal an hour in the making. Yes, Reece James is free on the right once again, his cross this time is nodded on by Kai Havertz and Marcos Alonso is unmarked inside the area to crunch a volley across goal and in. Really well taken.
59'
Corner awarded to Chelsea.
57'
Once again Chelsea have so much space out wide. Anthony Elanga and Marcus Rashford have swapped wings but still nobody is tracking Reece James. The ball is just too heavy for him though.
54'
Handball by Azpilicueta.
53'
Chance for Chelsea...again! Once more they cut United to ribbons down the right, Mason Mount floats in a great ball and Timo Werner slides in - but can't quite reach it.
50'
Now United flash a ball across goal and Chelsea get lucky, before they have a three-on-one breakaway. Chelsea must score - but Kai Havertz makes a poor decision and the chance is gone.
47'
Straight away Chelsea are in again. Kai Havertz is allowed to bring down a cross and tee up Mason Mount, who has time to get a shot away. Drags it wide though.
46'
We're back up and running. Goals to come?
45'
HT: Man United 0-0 Chelsea! A half dominated by Chelsea, who really should have the lead. Kai Havertz has been guilty of wasting some good chances and Manchester United have to get much, much better to stay in this.
A poor ball in ends that Chelsea attack though as the half peters out.
43'
Foul by Scott McTominay on Mason Mount.
41'
That's better from the hosts. Scott McTominay finds Bruno Fernandes with an excellent pass, he should shoot but pokes a pass through to Cristiano Ronaldo instead and his team-mate is offside.
39'
Chelsea will be kicking themselves if it stays goalless until then as Antonio Rudiger wastes possession with a speculative shot over the top.
37'
There was another big chance! Kai Havertz could have a hat-trick already as he breezes into the middle to meet a very fine cross from Reece James, heads powerfully enough but he can't get it down and David De Gea is able to paw it out.
35'
Nine shots on goal already for Chelsea, who have done just about everything but score. Thomas Tuchel knows it too, a picture of frustration down in the shadows.
32'
Mason Mount is flagged for offside.
31'
Reece James tries a through ball, but Timo Werner is caught offside.
30'
So many sights of goal...Reece James dances inside a half tackle from Alex Telles and hits a great ball into the middle. Once again there's no Chelsea shirt waiting for a tap-in.
28'
The same story! Ngolo Kante into space, he finds Kai Havertz on the other side of the area this time but his shot is into the chest of David De Gea this time. Good save but not a great finish. Thomas Tuchel is livid on the sidelines.
25'
Chance! Chelsea hit on the break with Ngolo Kante streaking through the middle before he finds Kai Havertz bursting into the area. The angle is tight and the Germany forward can't beat it, shooting high into the side-netting.
24'
Corner awarded to Chelsea. Conceded by Diogo Dalot.
23'
Again Mason Mount flashes in the ball and David De Gea has to gather bravely in front of Kai Havertz. Surgery required on the left-hand side of the Manchester United XI, surely.
22'
Mason Mount flashes a dangerous ball in at the other end but there's nobody there to meet it. Mount causing chaos from that space on the right.
19'
Mason Mount has the freedom of the right flank this time and after moving to the edge of the area he pulls a cutback behind three team-mates. Chelsea should have made more of that opportunity.
17'
Antonio Rudiger is almost caught on the ball in a very dangerous area but the Chelsea man gets away with it. Rudiger then sweeps a delicious crossfield pass out to Reece James, who has been outstanding so far.
14'
Cristiano Ronaldo has not managed a league goal against Chelsea but he's in the mood now, trying a shot from a full 30 yards. A Chelsea shirt makes the block though. The home side much more at it after that slow start.
13'
Rashford gets a corner for United.
9'
So much space again! Reece James has acres on the Chelsea right, Mason Mount plays him in and the England man snaps a shot off which Raphael Varane does well to block in the end. Marcus Rashford gets a talking to from Alex Telles.
6'
The Chelsea wing-backs are instrumental in these opening stages. Again Marcos Alonso is able to find space, he rolls a pass across to Reece James and he lashes in a shot which is straight at David De Gea. Full of power but the keeper can beat it clear. Timo Werner then gets a shot off. All Chelsea.
4'
Good from Marcos Alonso again to link up with Timo Werner on that Chelsea left but the eventual ball in is easily dealt with. No Harry Maguire in that United backline again tonight, of course. Chelsea now have a free-kick out wide and Mason Mount has a shot charged down.
3'
Foul by Nemanja Matic on Jorginho.
2'
Marcos Alonso pulls off a lovely flick to send Chelsea away down the left but the attack breaks down. Early ball for the visitors.
1'
Plenty of noise bubbling away inside Old Trafford despite some empty seats as the players line up. And we're off!

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel: "It is always a big game at Old Trafford, a big fixture and one of the biggest stages in world football. We need a top performance. If I knew why our away form was so much better than our home form…it’s a bit strange. It is a pattern"
PRVW
The players finish their warm-up and prepare the final details before the start of the match.
Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick: "The goal is to show our best possible performance. The only way to get something tonight is to play together, and hopefully score the first goal. We had chances against Arsenal and we have to show more of that tonight, for 90-95 minutes not just 60. We owe it to our fans to fight, to show a performance"
None of the six Manchester United managers to take charge of a PL match against Chelsea have won their first such game, with Jose Mourinho the only manager to lose.

This is how the home side arrived at the stadium, will they be able to win with the support of their home crowd?
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored seven of Manchester United's past eight Premier League goals, including each of the last four. But curiously he has never scored against Chelsea in 11 league meetings.
PRVW
One change for the home side, Marcus Rashford returning up front in place of Jadon Sancho, who's ill. Antonio Rudiger and Reece James come into the Chelsea line-up; Trevoh Chalobah and Ruben Loftus-Cheek drop to the bench.
Chelsea are winless in eight Premier League matches against Man Utd – only against Arsenal and Blackburn Rovers have they had a longer run without a win in the competition.
