"I have never accused my players of being unprofessional or selfish"

This Thursday, Man Utd face Chelsea in a matchday 37 Premier League clash. Ralf Rangnick's men go into the game in sixth with 54 points. Thomas Tuchel's men are third with 65.
The Mancunians are not in the best form at the moment. They have lost two games in a row in the league and they are fighting to be in Europe next season.
Before the clash, Ralf Rangnick appeared in a press conference. When asked by 'Sky Sports' about a report which he has allegedly sent ot Ten Hag, the manager for next season, he denied this. "It's completely false. The board have never asked me to prepare a dossier either for the board or for the next manager," he made it clear.
Rangnick also stressed that he has never questioned his players. "I didn't say anything to anyone criticising the attitude of the players for being unprofessional or selfish. It's not true, I'll always protect them, they've never caused me problems," he stressed.
Lastly, he explained which topics he has spoken about to the board. "We've exchanged views on the current situation regularly. For me, it's important, together with Erik ten Hag and the exploration department to be able to build a new team, a new group of quality players. The new boss and his coaching staff will take this club to the level the fans want to see Man Utd at," he concluded.
Rangnick will quit as manager in June and he recently announced that it would be a busy summer at Old Trafford. He said there would be departures and that there could be up to 10 signings.
