Until now, he was technical assistant in several teams of the Mexican club, but this unexpected exit of Guillermo Vázquez after the heavy defeat to Mazatlán has forced the club to take measures.
In this way, Luis García will be on the bench for the last match of the 2020 torneo Guardianes, that will see San Luis face Puebla this Saturday at 2:30 CET.
"Luis García will be the interim technical director of the first team for the last match of the Guardianes 2020 tournament. He will be supported by Jordi González, current director of the San Luis Athletic Academy", the statement read.
And it added: "Luis García has experience within the club as a first team technical assistant during the years 2018 and 2019, later he was the interim technical director of the club in the 2019 Apertura and is currently the technical director of the Atlético de San Luis Liga Premier team".
