FT: Tottenham 1 - 0 Brighton. A late goal from Eriksen gives Spurs the much needed win after a string of disapppointing results in the Premier League, and it will allow them to keep their clean sheet. It's a gut wrenching defeat for Brighton, who defended beautifully and could have really used the draw.
What an absolute beauty! What am important goal this might be for Tottenham! Spurs fans go wild, and boy do they deserved it. Brighton had it coming the entire second half, despite very good defending.

Another missed shot by Tottenham... Son had it, but the pass by Alli was not the best and Son falls. There are muted claims for a penalty kick, but it looked a fair challenge and Son doesn’t make too much of it.

Brighton meanwhile make six changes to the team named for the 0-0 at Wolves. Bruno, Gaetan Bong, Solly March, Davy Propper, Jose Izquierdo and Glenn Murray are out.
PRVW
Now for lineup news, there seem to be plenty of changes from the weekend. Spurs make five swaps in the wake of their 1-0 loss at Manchester City. Hugo Lloris, Kieran Trippier, Danny Rose, Victor Wanyama and Fernando Llorente return. Paulo Gazzaniga, Davison Sanchez, Eric Dier, Ben Davies and Juan Foyth drop to the bench.
PRVW
Cardiff's defeat against Liverpool on Sunday boosted their prospects of beating the drop, but the Seagull's will have to take matters into their own hands sooner rather than later.
PRVW
Things aren't so great for Brighton... Other than the already-relegated Huddersfield, they are the in the worst run of form in the league. They've failed to score in five matches and have picked up one point along the way, which has resulted in their alarming drop down the table.
PRVW
They are still one point ahead of Chelsea in fifth position and they'll be well aware that the Blues still have a crucial match against fellow top four rivals Manchester United to come.
PRVW
On paper, Tottenham's recent form in the Premier League is pretty grim by their usual lofty standards. They've won just two of their previous seven matches in the league... But they are still in a good position to finish in the top four.
PRVW
They'll no doubt be travelling to north London with the intention of getting a point, but qw can't imagine Tottenham will be letting that happen.
PRVW
Brighton, on the other hand, look to be in the midst of an inescapable rut and there has been little to suggest that they are going to be capable of turning things around quickly.
PRVW
They might however be a tad tired, especially when you consider the intensity of their last week... Facing the same team twice in a week is hard, and not any team at, as Man City are not too far from winning the Premier League.
PRVW
Tottenham's defeat against Manchester City would have come as a minor blow, but it is unlikely to have dampened their spirits too much when you consider the highs they experienced after their Champions League exploits.
