Sao Paulo currently have one of the world's most experienced players in their ranks in terms of titles. At 38-years-old Dani Alves has done everything there is to do in world football, although he regrets not playing for Manchester City.
Dani Alves mentioned this amongst other things in statements to 'Globoesporte': "I regret not moving to Manchester City (in 2017) to work with Guardiola again. When we're with people like him, who always finds a way out, he brings a lot to the table".
That summer, Alves arrived at PSG after a season with Juventus. The Brazilian certainly wasn't lacking offers, one of which could have seen him return to work with Guardiola, a manager which got the best out of him at Barcelona.
However, he doesn't regret playing for PSG, which ended up being his later adventure instead: "I regret not working with him again, but I don't regret going to Paris Saint-Germain. The experience I had there was incredible".
Dani Alves has just won the Brazilian League with Sao Paulo, as he continues to add his trophy collection. However, he was hit with the bad news of a knee injury which will keep him out action for the Brazilian national team this summer.
