Huijsen fuels Real Madrid speculation with revealing comments

The 19-year-old, who has both Dutch and Spanish roots, admitted he was flattered by the idea of joining the club – and hinted that the prospect has already been discussed among those close to him.
In a recent interview, Huijsen revealed: "One of my close friends sent me a story about Real Madrid and said: 'Go to Madrid!'" The teenager didn't hide his admiration either, adding: "It's a big club. Every player wants to play in the biggest possible."
His words have only added fuel to the fire, as Madrid continue to monitor his progress closely. Although no deal is imminent, the defender's comments are likely to be well received at the Bernabeu.
Real Madrid are in the market for long-term options in central defence, and the young centre-back is seen as a player with the right profile – mature on the pitch, technically sound, and already showing leadership qualities well beyond his age.
While Bournemouth are thought to be demanding around €50 million for his services, Madrid are reportedly exploring ways to make the deal more manageable, potentially including youth players to bring down the fee.
