Tottenham Hotspur faced Barcelona in a feisty and hard-fought clash for the Joan Gamper Trophy. Although the Spaniards got an early lead thanks to Robert Lewandowski, Spurs kept pushing and thanks to a brace from Oliver Skipp, led at the half. Ferran Torres found Barca's equaliser deep into the second half and two late goals from Ansu Fati and Abde completed Barca's comeback.
