Everton
Marco Silva's men are without Columbian Yerry Mina due to injury but could name an unchanged side from the one that defeated West Ham. This would mean Theo Walcott once again settling for a place on the bench, with young Dominic Calvert-Lewin up front for the home side.
Arsenal
Aaron Ramsey has been declared fit after his minor muscle strain against Newcastle on Monday night, which comes at a great time for Arsenal as Lucas Torreira is still serving his ban after the North London derby draw, and Granit Xhaka may well miss the tie due to injury. Xhaka will undergo a late fitness test, as will defender Laurent Koscielny. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be hopeful of a return to the starting line-up for Arsenal
MANAGERS' THOUGHTS
Marco Silva on the Goodison Park atmosphere and beating Chelsea:
"I know how the atmosphere will be in our stadium again and how the fans can be a key for us. Together, our fans and players, can help us to get a good result."
“We deserved to win that game, Our obligation as a club and for me as a manager is to do everything we can to win. On Sunday, we are playing another top team, we will play with the same mentality we had in second half against Chelsea and in the last match against West Ham."
Unai Emery on the Premier League run in and the importance of the Everton game:
"I am very realistic. We are in a good moment. It depends on Sunday as well, these three points, but now each match is very important for that. If we win, we are third. If we don't win, we can't hold this position. But football is each moment to enjoy, to prepare, to work, to play. It depends if we are efficient on the pitch. If we are - for 90 minutes - competitive, then I think we can achieve these three points. But it's a long way to go and we need to be positive, but also realistic and the reality is that Sunday is a very big challenge and a very big opportunity now. We are going to continue in our way and Sunday is the first. I think the players are very, very focused for this match and for our moment."
