TEAM NEWS
Chelsea
Sarri has a number of decisions to make after the Europa League clash with Dynamo Kiev. One of them regarding Callum Hudson-Odoi who only managed a start on the subs bench against the Ukrainian team. Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Palmieri, Kante, Hazard and Higuain did not feature in Sarri's starting line-up against Kiev but all of those players should start against Wolves.
Mateo Kovacic's night ended just before the hour mark against Kiev, so Ross Barkley is likely to start in his place on Sunday.
A win for Chelsea would put them ahead of Arsenal or Manchester United who play each other later the same day.
Wolves
Ryan Bennett has accumulated 10 yellow cards so will have to sit this clash out through suspension, and will likely be replaced by Romain Saiss. Other than that, the Wolves squad has no injuries to contend with. Familiar faces such as Rui Patricio, Matt Doherty, Jonny Otto, Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho should all make appearances for their away trip to Stamford Bridge.
MANAGERS' THOUGHTS
Maurizio Sarri
Chelsea manager on Loftus-Cheek's possibility of playing 90 minutes:
"He has played with continuity in the last few weeks. His condition is not at the top at the moment to play 90 minutes."
Sarri on Chelsea's most recent encounter with Wolves:
“I remember very well that, after the goal at 1-1, we stopped playing. We need to arrive in this match with the right level of preparation and mentality. If you stop to play, you can lose against any team."
Nuno Espirito Santo
Wolves manager on their win over Chelsea in December
“That was a very important moment because it ended a very bad moment – a run that we had, so it was a turning point on the competition.
“We look at Chelsea and know what we’re going to face. Fantastic football, a fantastic manager. They will be very difficult, but we have to try and be focused on what we can do to prevent Chelsea from playing."
