The wing-back was one of Chelsea best outlets going forward against the 'Seagulls' almost finding the net with a low effort form range, before flicking home Cesc Fabregas' corner to secure the points for Antonio Conte's men.

A few weeks ago, Arnautovic was considered a flop at the London Stadium, but two late goals against Bournemouth really ought to have earned his side three points before Callum Wilson's controversial late leveller.

The Brazilian deserves to be in the team for his opening goal alone, stroking into the top corner with a ridiculous amount of ease. Coutinho was a class above throughout and he also claimed an assist as his inch-perfect free kick found the unmarked Roberto Firmino for Liverpool's second.
Midfielder: Dele Alli (Tottenham)
After a disappointing few weeks, Alli looked to have returned to something like his best against Southampton as he chipped in with a goal and two assists in a seven-goal thriller.
Midfielder: Jesse Lingard (Manchester United)
If there are any young players out there wondering how to impact a game as a substitute, they should look at this performance. The England man was a bundle of energy, getting into good positions and scoring twice to earn his side a point. His first goal was a sumptuous back-heel from a low Ashley Young cross and he was unlucky to miss out on a hat-trick, being denied by the face of Nick Pope at point-blank range.
Midfielder: Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal)
Despite reports that he is closing in on a move to Manchester City, Sanchez showed that he is still focused on his football as his quick-fire double earned Arsenal all three points against a battling Crystal Palace side.
Striker: Roberto Firmino (Liverpool)
Firmino was a thorn in Swansea's side throughout on Boxing Day. It was his defensive work that won the ball back for Philippe Coutinho's opener, before the former Hoffenheim man went on to get on the scoresheet twice himself.
Striker: Harry Kane (Tottenham)
What more is there to say about this man? A record-breaking hat-trick against Southampton saw him end the year as the top scorer in world football. His treble here was a display of his predatory instincts and his promise after the game that there is still more to come will have opposition defenders quaking in their boots.
