Balotelli had to go off injured in his first game as captain. Captura/DAZN

The striker wore the captain's armband for the first time at Brescia, but his team did not get more than a draw and he had to be replaced before the end of the game because of a muscle problem.

Brescia managed to go ahead with a goal from Bisoli with less than 10 minutes to go, but there is always a chance to fightback until the final whistle goes.

In added time, De Paul managed to level after the new Brescia captain had gone off. Balotelli had to be subsituted in the 85th minute because of a muscle problem which he felt after running. Donnarumma came on in his place.

The match against Udinese was the first for Balotelli as captain, making clear his role within the team. He has scored five goals in 16 matches.
