Eric Bailly's time at Marseille is coming to an end. The defender joined the French club from Manchester United last summer on loan with a non-mandatory option to buy.
According to 'L'Equipe', Marseille coach Igor Tudor does not count on him. For this reason, Bailly will not play next season under Tudor. The board have decided not to use the option to buy in his contract.
His performances in Ligue 1 have been very poor as the Ivorian centre-back has only played 15 competitive matches for the French side.
The 28-year-old was one of the best defenders in La Liga after spells at Espanyol and Villarreal. Bailly left United because he was not a key player in the squad but will have to return to Old Trafford at the end of the season.
