The striker has made it clear that he would like to leave the Hammers following Slaven Bilic's claims that he would like to sign a 'top quality striker'.
Sakho impressed for West Ham in his first season at the club under former Hammers boss Sam Allardyce, scoring 12 goals in 26 appearances.
However, the Senegalese striker struggled with injuries last season and only scored seven goals in 24 games.
Before Allardyce's appointment as England manager, the forward was heavily linked with a move to Sunderland which never materialised.
Now it appears that West Brom will try to sign Sakho and improve their options in attack.
