The anchorman tackled all kinds of topics, including: Barca's recent form, the problems the club suffered during the summer, the Spanish Super Cup and the debate surrounding the latest Spain shirt.
"We're in good form. We're not playing particularly well but we're solid and compact. We know, we're well aware of it. An important player (Neymar) left us in the summer and we've changed the system a little bit... that always improves some areas of your game but perhaps takes something away elsewhere. The important thing is to be compact, that is how you build a winning team. Teams are finding it hard to score against us, which pleases us greatly," he explained.
"If you ask me, the bigger the gap between us and them the better. But we're not thinking about winning the title just yet. We have to keep doing our own thing, winning and putting in good performances," he added, when asked about the gap between Barca and arch-rivals Real Madrid.
The midfield maestro wasn't keen on fielding questions about Spain's controversial new shirt though, telling the press: "I hope we can win the World Cup and then everyone will love the shirt. We have a great side and it is frustrating that people have to talk about such frivolous things. I don't like controversies so the fewer the better as far as I'm concerned. It would be nice to talk about football every now and then."
