Goals from Karim Benzema and Marcelo helped the European champions edge to victory at the Santiago Bernabeu, but there was audible displeasure from the home crowd at the nature of the performance.
"This result doesn't help us build confidence," the Brazilian told 'Movistar+'. "We know we're not in good form, but it's three points and now we focus on Barcelona.
"We have to be honest, we're not playing well and we're on a bad run, but we have confidence in ourselves, in the manager, in the coaching staff," he added.
"Now, it's up to us to work hard and I'm sure we'll turn this around. I'm concentrating on the host of opportunities that we have created. It could easily have finished 5-2."
Finally, the anchorman insisted that the club's players remain completely behind manager Julen Lopetegui and said that 'Los Vlancos' would be going for the win in Sunday's 'El Clásico'. "We always have to go for the win against whoever it may be. We know that it's a special and very difficult game," he concluded.
