Former footballer Wayne Bridge has been commenting on how he watched the Euros and said he was saddened, not so much by England's defeat but by Roberto Mancini's triumph.
"My family were not only cheering for England, they were cheering that Mancini was losing, so it hurt us even more," he was quoted as saying by 'AS'.
Wayne Bridge took away the credit for Mancini's time as Manchester City manager: "All credit for what he did at City when he won the league, so City fans will love him, but if you look at the players and the team he had, that's what they won, not him as a manager."
Precisely, the two coincided at the English club and he confessed that they fell out. "I was there for a few months and we didn't get on well, but I didn't enjoy training at all," he finished.
