Fluminense took on Atletico Mineiro in a Brasileirao clash on Wednesday night.
The home side took the lead in the 18th minute through Jhon Arias and German Cano got the second after 29 minutes. Hulk pulled one back for Atletico Mineiro, but Samuel Brito put Fluminense 3-1 up with 37 minutes on the clock. The visitors kept on attacking though and Jair Rodrigues Junior halved the deficit right on half-time. Early in the second period, it was 3-3 as Eduardo Sasha found the back of the net, but Cano restored Fluminense's advantage just before the hour mark. Then Luiz Henrique got the fifth for the home side after 63 minutes.
