The Bayer Leverkusen footballer, who faces Atletico Madrid in the Champions League this Wednesday, offered an extensive interview in which he spoke about his past and future.
The German recognized that one of his biggest football idols is Andres Iniesta. "He is outstanding with the ball. Unique. He is the one I liked the most," he said in an interview in 'Marca', where he also spoke of "Kaká, Zidane and Ronaldinho," as other players who inspired him.
Havertz, the next German Ballon d'Or for Lothar Mätthaus, was described as "a dangerous player". "I'm at a point where I don't care if I give an assist, score a goal or give a preliminary pass," he said.
Havertz also let himself be loved by some of the biggest teams on the European scene. He described Bayern Munich as "Germany's biggest club". He also praised Barcelona and Real Madrid as teams that "have a lot of possession".
