In an interview with 'Radio Marcar Tenerife', Miguel Ángel ramírez analysed next-week's derby, but it was in 'El País' that he had his say on Setién and Messi.
"Messi is difficult to manage, but who am I to comment! If something has been the same for years, you aren't going to change it. The best players are the hardest to manage", said the Cantabrian.
The Las Palmas president claims that Setién just likes the limelight: "Setien likes it. He did the same at Las Palmas and Luho, but that doesn't mean he isn't a good manager".
He also had his say on Pedri. The Gran Canaria outfit will receive a fee for his call-up to the Spanish national team.
"Las Palmas will receive a million euros, even if he doesn't play", he said.
