The Frenchman was key in Everton's 2-2 draw with Wolves on Saturday evening and says the 'Toffees' are becoming a better team due to Silva's attention to detail and clear communication.
Speaking to Everton's official website, Schneiderlin remarked: "He's very attentive to details. He tries to make progress collectively and individually as well. He has shown me videos of my games and where I can improve. He's shown videos to others, too.
"That's very good for footballers as you need to see yourself after the game and understand what the manager wants from you.
"I need to have communication and know what he wants from me, then it's easier to transmit that onto the pitch. It's a normal process and I enjoy that very much."
Schneiderlin has also backed new arrival Richarlison to prove his worth this season. The Brazilian scored twice in Everton's opening game.
