Confirmation of Essam El Hadary´s record-breaking start for Egypt, making him the oldest player to play a game ever in a World Cup
The Saudi Arabian team have faced a difficult couple of games, particularly with the humiliation at the hands of the host Russia in the first match of the tournament. Following that game, the players were hugely criticised after that fixture, woth a government minister saying some of the players would be ´punished´following the defeat. But losing out just 1-0 to Uruguay was a huge improvement for the ´Green Falcons´which they will look to build on in this game.
PRVW
A big debate leading up to this one has been whether Egyptian reserve goalkeeper Essam El Hadary would play in this game. Having sat out the previous two matches, his appearance in this game will make the 45 year-old become the oldest player to ever play in a World Cup game.

Hello and welcome to this Group A match between Saudi Arabia and Egypt. With both teams already out of the tournament having lost to Russia and Uruguay in their previous two matches, this could be a tame affair. However, let´s not forget that the two teams are neighbours and so the two Arab teams will want to get the upper hand against their regional rivals and salvage some pride from what has been a disappointing World Cup for both teams.
