Roma thinking about opening record against Zaniolo

The Roma dressing room has not had the best atmosphere lately. Manager Jose Mourinho left defender Rick Karsdorp out of the side because he felt betrayed. After that came the 'Zaniolo case'.

Midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo drew interst from several clubs in the January transfer window. The footballer publicly expressed his desire to leave the Italian side. To add insult to injury, the player refused to play a part in the games against Spezia and Napoli.

The Portuguese coach was annoyed with Zaniolo's attitude. The situation got to the point where, as 'Sky Sports Italia' reported, Roma are thought to be considering opening a case against the Italian.

A free agent in 2024, the player wants to leave the Rome side at all costs. But his bad attitude is tarnishing his football as much as it is the current good season which he was having.
