The vote of no confidence is still a hot topic at Barcelona. In the latest episode in this ongoing story, Barcelona have decided to send a letter to Pere Aragones, the acting president of the Catalan Government, asking him to suspend it.
That is what 'RAC1' publishes. On Monday 26th October, before the board meeting, Barca asked Pere Aragones to postpone the vote so now we need to wait for the Catalan Government's response on the matter.
A saga which looks set to go on for a long while yet after several spats between those who started the campaign for the vote of no confidence and the club. There was the controversy over the alleged fake signings the former had received.
In addition, Barca said in the past that the complexity of it meant they needed another 15 days due to the coronavirus pandemic.
All of this comes after Jordi Farre, the man who started the vote of no confidence against Bartomeu, made clear that he will not hesitate in taking legal action if the vote of no confidence is postponed. 'Sport' reports that Bartomeu is willing to resign if the vote of no confidence, scheduled for 1st and 2nd November, is not postponed.
