PSG plan to get De Gea for free after next season, according to the 'Express'. The goalkeeper's contract expires on 30th June 2020, so he would have to wait and keep on playing for the 'Reds' in the upcoming season in order to go to PSG for nothing at the end of the 2019-20 season.
Currently, Buffon is the star keeper for PSG. The PSG board are now looking for a substtute for the historic 41 year-old goalie although he himself announced that the Parisian outfit had offered him a contract renewal.
De Gea started his career in the Atletico Madrid B team. He got promoted to the first team and soon caught the eyes of foreign clubs. Manchester United got hold of him in the 2010-11 season and since then, he has been a key man for the English side.
If PSG's idea goes to plan, De Gea will leave after nine seasons in Manchester. He would leave at the age of 29 and he could be tempted by the large salary which the French club would offer him.
