The UEFA Executive Committee decided at their meeting on Wednesday that the 2020 European Super Cup will finally be played at the Puskas Arena in Budapest on 24th September.
In principle, the title between the Champions League and Europa League winners was going to be played in August at the Estadio do Dragao in Porto, but amidst the changes in the tournaments and the calendar due to the coronavirus pandemic, the venue of the match has been changed.
The Champions League will be played in Lisbon in August and the Europa League in several cities in Germany, so the match to decide the super champion of the European continent was delayed.
The following editions of the Super Cup will be played in Belfast (2021), Helsinki (2022), and Kazan (2023).
