Moses Odubajo got injured during a training session and will miss six months.
The club has confirmed the news today. The 23-year-old suffers a fractured kneecap and will miss at least a half year.
"Moses was assessed by surgeons in London yesterday who stated the player would be required to undergo more surgery to stabilise the fracture and this will be undertaken early next week. Positively, the 23-year-old's knee ligaments remain intact, including the MPFL reconstruction he had in the summer," the club's statement says.
"The Tigers can confirm they were dealt a disappointing injury blow yesterday when Moses Odubajo was ruled out for an estimated six months with a fractured patella. The full-back, who had been making excellent strides on his comeback following dislocating his patella in the summer, picked the injury up in a non-contact incident whilst in training.".
