According to 'AS', a former Wales National Team international, Iwan Roberts, is one of the recruited subjects for these experiments. A few months ago, in Chile, they also started a campaign to try to diagnose the disease early in athletes.
Alzheimer's is an illness that has affected a lot of footballers, especially older aged, throughout the years. In fact, in the World Champion England team of 1966, three players were registered with this illness.
The 'BBC' recently released a documentary, 'Insanity, Football and Me', which featured Alan Shearer talking about the same thing: "Every goal I scored with my head was preceded by a thousand equal shots in training. However, despite speculation, nothing has been proved so far".
