United fans have become restless since their boss described PSG as 'special' in an interview, and there have since been a number of reports suggesting Mourinho will succeed Unai Emery in the French Capital.
The news is even more surprising given that the Portuguese tactician said he wanted to stay at Old Trafford for 15 years the summer.
However, if his recent attitude is anything to go by, Mourinho is becoming increasingly unsettled in his current post. As always, he has picked arguments with the media, but he has also continually criticised the United fans.
PSG is, therefore, a convenient escape route for the former Real Madrid and Chelsea boss, meaning United officials will have to offer a very lucrative deal in order to keep their man in the North West.
