The Portuguese coach has been charged after television cameras allegedly captured him shouting the words ''f*** off sons of b*****s'' at the viewing audience after his team''s 3-2 comeback victory over Newcastle United.
He originally had until Friday to respond to the charge, at which point a potential ban would be given, but he has been granted an extension to respond until Wednesday, allowing him to be on the touchline against his former employers.
The 55-year-old was asked in a press conference if he felt the charge was another example of him being victimised, but he refused to answer. He responded: ''I don't comment.''
''If I answer to your question I probably have another process because I cannot imply bias so my answer is no answer.''
