Mourinho has place at Roma for Saul

Diego Simeone is preparing for the 2022-23 season. He has pre-season to decide which players he counts on for the new season and which ones are surplus to requirements. 

There are doubts over Saul. The player returns after his loan move to Chelsea and there are question marks over his future. 

If Atletico decide to let him leave, he will not be short of options. Sevilla are reportedly interested in Saul and he is not the only option. 'Il Tempo' reports that Roma will also make space for him. 

Jose Mourinho is looking for reinforcements in midfield and one of those names he has in mind is that of Saul. Roma have the Spaniard in mind for the 202-23 season because of his versatility. Roma believe that he could fit into their system. 

Simeone will be who has the final word. Saul's season at Chelsea was not a good one at all. He made just 23 appearances and started only 12 of them. It remains to be seen whether Atletico will be find a place for him in midfield or whether they will decide to let him leave.
