Kylian Mbappe is now on holiday and has loads of commercial obligations to fulfill. In Tokyo, the PSG star delighted the youngsters although he also had time to give an interview on 'ESPN's programme 'Ahora o Nunca'.
In it, as well as leaving open the possibility of going to the MLS in the future, the striker was asked on who he thought were the best players in history. The Frenchman struggled to make his choices, but he ended up doing so.
He did so by splitting football into two different time periods: before and after 1980. In the first period, Mbappe says that Pele was by far the best. "It's difficult because football is different now to 20 years back. I could say Pele, but he played in the 1950s and 60s. I could say Ronaldo, Messi, Maradona or Zidane... but before 1980, Pele was the king of football.
Mbappe recalled that the Brazilian won 'three World Cups', something which is 'incredible'. For the second period, Mbappe names a few. "Maybe Cristiano Ronaldo, Leo Messi, Zidane and Ronaldinho. There are some players who make history and are never forgotten."
While Mbappe is enjoying himself on holiday, there is chaos. All as a result of comments from Nasser Al-Khelaifi in which he assured that he was 200% sure that Mbappe would continue, but in which he also singled out Neymar for criticism.
