Mbappe refuses to take part in France photo shoot

New episode in the controversy involving Mbappe and the French Federation. The PSG star confirmed that he will not form part of the photo shoot with France's sponsors. 

"We lament the fact an agreement has not been reached, as was expected before the World Cup, so the player has decided not to attend the photo shoot planned for this Tuesday," the statement reads.

Last March, there were issues as well. Mbappe refused to leave his bedroom in the French national team to appear with the brands which sponsor the French Federation's sports events. 

Therefore, there is still a fight between the two parties. Mbappe is not giving with regards to his image right and the French national team lose the man who brings most sponsors in. It is also another off the field issue involving Deschamps' side. 

"It was stated that this agreement, written in 2010, must be midified to be up to date with the evolution of sport and ways of communication. More meetings will be held to make a new version of the agreement before the next World Cup (20th November - 18th December)," Delphine Verheyden, Mbappe's lawyer, concluded. 

Mbappe has wanted to stress that nothing is going to change with regards to his commitment with the French national team. The reason for this divorce is that some sponsors "clash" with the brands which pay Kylian Mbappe. 

Another controversy surrrounding 'Les Bleus', although obviously less serious than the one which surrounds Paul Pogba, who is under judicial protection and whose brother went to prison for allegedly blackmailing Paul.
