Ander Herrera has announced this Saturday that he is to leave Manchester United at the end of this camapaign after five years service at the club. The news has also been confirmed by his club.
The Spanish midfielder said goodbye in a video message recalling his time at the club and thanking fans for their support over the years. "There is red in my heart. I knew it from the first time I played here," he started.
He said it was a very special feeling "when I heard them sing my name". Herrera also mentioned how he quickly understood what the club meant. "There is red in my heart. I knew it from the first time I played here"

"I will remember every one of the games I played in this shirt, the greatest club in England," he reflected. He said it was "a true honour" to play for the club and concluded his message saying "thank you for these five amazing years."
While in Manchester, the 29 year-old lifted the FA Cup in the 2015-16 season along with three trophies the following year: the Community Shield, the Carabao Cup and the Europa League after defeating Ajax in the final. He made 189 appearances in all competitions and scored 20 goals.
The ex-Athletic Bilbao and Real Zaragoza man has been linked with a move to Paris Saint Germain, but nothing has been decided on his future yet. United's final game of the season is on Sunday against Cardiff City.
