That Zidane wants to take Pogba under his wing is not news. However, claims that Real Madrid would be ready to give up four footballers to bring the Frenchman in does surprise the public.
According to the 'Daily Mail' and 'The Sun', Martin Odegaard, James Rodríguez, Lucas Vázquez and Brahim Díaz would be on the table as swaps for Pogba.
James' departure is understandable, and Lucas' departure is also expected, but it is hard to believe that Real Madrid will part with a Martin Odegaard who seems to have finally made the leap in quality that was expected of him, not to mention Brahim, one of Real Madird's most promising youngsters.
What seems certain is that this summer, in view of the imminent crisis, Madrid, and many other clubs, will have no choice but to include players to reduce spending on transfers while continuing to strengthen their staff.
