Liverpool's Colombian striker Luis Diaz returned to action on Monday after recovering from the knee injury he suffered in October 2022, which has kept him out for more than six months.
Diaz, who last played on 9th October, played the last nine minutes of Liverpool's 6-1 win over Leeds on Monday, replacing Dutchman Cody Gakpo in the 81st minute.
The Colombian international, who was injured in a collision with Arsenal's Thomas Partey that forced him to undergo surgery, returned to Liverpool training at the end of March.
A recovery that came to an end on Monday when Jurgen Klopp brought Luis Diaz back onto the pitch in a match that put Liverpool back in contention for the European places.
