The Hammers struggled to get past Alisson, who was only beaten late on by an own goal from Robertson. Van Dijk was also at fault for the blunder, but the Dutchman made amends by restoring the hosts' lead in the 89th minute.

Wan-Bissaka’s left-foot cross falls just between Van Dijk and Robertson; the Dutchman tries to clear the ball, but he ends up volleying it onto Robertson, who deflects it past Alisson. 1-1!
