LIVE
90'
FULL TIME Liverpool 4-3 Salzburg. What an exciting game this was, as Liverpool were leading 3-1 going in to half time, with some outstanding football from the Reds. In the second half, the tables were completely turned as Salzburg came back to make it 3-3, but a goal from Salah sealed the deal and got Liverpool their first vicotry of this Champions League campaign. Still a lot to work on for a very weak defensive Liverpool side in the second half!
90'
3 minutes added time!!
86'
Fabinho takes one for the team as he brings the Salzburg player down after he knew it was a dangerous run from them and gets nothing of the ball
85'
Jurgen Klopp will not be happy with the way his team has performed in the second half!!
78'
Salzburg make their final change: Junuzovic is replaced by Ashimeru
77'
Corner for Liverpool! It is hit too deep and comes to nothing
73'
Klopp is puzzled, he doesn't know where to look, what to think or how to rationalise this game. It is an end-to-end game and the fans are certainly getting their monies worth!
72'
Corner for the Reds, Mane threw himself in at the near post, but there was that much pace on the ball that he could not finish it off
70'
Salzburg change here as number 14, Szoboszlai comes off and is replaced by Okugawa!
68'
Mo Salah strikes again, after a lot of Liverpool play in the box and Salzburg cannot quite manage to defend well and Salah is passed the ball, sneaks through the defence and Liverpool have their lead back! A crazy night!!
68'
WHAT A GAME THIS IS TURNING OUT TO BE!!
64'
Second substitution for Liverpool as Wijnaldum comes off and is replaced by Origi, in the hope that this will make the difference for the Reds, with just under half an hour remaining.
62'
Salzburg coach Jesse Marsch gets a yellow card after running down the pitch to celebrate with his players and his fans!
61'
Liverpool can barely believe this! They make a sub to try and change things, as Henderson comes off and James Milner is his replacement
60'
Salzburg equalises!!! Their impact sub has certainly made an impact, as Haaland coolly puts the ball in the back of the net after a cool pass through from Minamino. Liverpool don't know what has happened and how do they react from this? A turn of tables in the second half!!
60'
And you'll never guess what...
58'
Szoboszlai hits the ball just past the near post and he can't believe he has missed that ball to put his team level
57'
Salzburg make their first change as they look to get something out of this. Star Haaland comes on for Daka
55'
We now have a game on our hands. This game has been far too open in the second half. A cross-in from Chan falls to Minamino, who smashes it in the back of the net. What a great goal and now Salzburg are back in the game! 3-2
55'
WHAT A GOAL!!!!!
53'
Lovely play by Mane as he makes a good run in the corner, makes a little turn, passes the ball to Wijnaldum, who was in the box and he has a shot, but it goes just wide of the post
52'
Salzburg have come into this second half as the stronger side, as they look to try and get something out of this game, they are pressing a lot and having a few shots. Liverpool looking rather complacent and not the ruthless side that they looked in the first half.
48'
Adrian lucky as he comes off his line to clear a pass-back, but Daka is there and goes one on one with the keeper, almost scoring, but it goes out! Very lucky for Liverpool there
45'
The second half is underway!! No changes going in to this half.
45'
Half-time at Anfield sees Liverpool pretty much dominating, except for the odd defensive mistakes, which cost them a goal! Salzburg need to get back into this game in the second half and try and get something out of it! Liverpool have played some stunning football in this half, with some beautiful goals as Liverpool cruise their way to half time!
39'
Hee Chan scores a very good goal in front of the Kopp, a great goal, as he runs down the left, he turns van Dijk inside out, puts the ball on his stronger right foot and Adrian had no chance as he smashes it into the back of the net! Wake up call for Liverpool defensively.
39'
Salzburg close the gap a little!...
35'
Liverpool make it three after a Mo Salah goal. The defenders get in the way of each other trying to clear Firmino's first ball in, which the keeper punches away, but Mo Salah is there for the deflection and just slots it in the back of the net. 3-0 to a dominating Liverpool! Salah's first European goal since the finals in March
35'
AND GUESS WHAT...
31'
Corner for Salzburg as Szoboslai has a shot but Adrian clears it away for a corner. Corner also comes to nothing as Livepool manage to deal with it
29'
A long ball played down the pitch to Salah into the box, but the ball sails wide as it comes off the left side of his boot!
28'
This is football with certainty from the defending champions! Salzburg need to not let this get to them too much and try and not concede any more!
24'
After a cross in from Alexander-Arnold on the right-hand side, near the corner flag, Robertson just keeps on driving forward and gets right across the big centre forward and drives the ball into the back of the net. Sublime, slick finish from Liverpool.
24'
AND THEY HAVE DOUBLED THE LEAD...
20'
Liverpool corner as Salah's dancing feet through the box means he gets past defenders, but his ball is eventually cleared and the corner is also cleared further up the pitch.
19'
Stankovic makes a good save after Alexabder-Arnold strikes the ball in from outside the box, on the right hand side. The keeper just calmly catches the ball for a goal kick.
15'
Liverpool doing well now, having a lot of shots and a lot of chances, but Salzburg's defending is great and they are managing to stop them
8'
Saudio Mane scores after a shimmying down the left hand side and through the Salzburg's defenders, a quick 1-2 with Firmino and then ending in a sublime finish into the bottom right hand corner. What a goal and what a start for Liverpool
8'
WE HAVE THE FIRST GOAL!!!!
6'
Great ball by Alexander-Arnold, through to Firmino in the box, but it is defended well by the Salzburg men and the keeper sees to it.
5'
Corner for the Reds as Salah tries to have a shot and Ulmer clears. The corner is cleared, but not far enough out and Liverpool keep having shot after shot into the box, nothing clear-cut happened there.
2'
Minamino has a shot from far outside the box, but it doesn't really threaten Adrian that much and it goes wide! Salzburg without young star Haaland in their starting XI, so we will see how they shape up without them.
Prev.
Salzburg get us underway in tonight's game! Matip got a knock and so will not be playing tonight! We would also like to wish Firmino a very happy birthday!
Prev.
Klopp says that Salzburg's biggest strength and the one thing Liverpool will have to look out for is their defending beacause they do it really well. He also thinks they will have a bit of an attacking threat and that Liverpool will have to be brave tonight
Prev.
