GOAL! CARDIFF! BAMBA! 2-1! Keystone cops stuff in south Wales! Bamba's initial overhead kick comes back off the post, only for Harris' follow-up to be deflected onto the bar by Duffy. The danger isn't over, though, and Bamba piles in to make amends for his earlier mistake by rifling beyond the crowd of bodies and into the roof of the net.
  • 89'

Sean Morrison's afternoon is over as he fails to get over that clash of heads a few minutes ago, with Lee Peltier introduced in his place.
  • 63'
That is Murray's last action as Florin Andone replaces him.
  • 63'
Careful! Murray tries to chest a cross from the right back to Ryan but the Australian doesn't want it. The striker is then shrugged off the ball by Paterson, who is denied at the near post by Ryan, but the Scotland international is adjudged to have fouled Murray.
  • 62'
Almost another chance for Cardiff as Morrison heads down a deep free-kick at the far post, but it is Bissouma rather than a blue shirt that the look ball drops to and the ball is cleared.
  • 59'
OFF THE BAR! Kadeem Harris is inches away from giving Cardiff the lead as he comes in on his left foot from out on the right and tries to curl and effort into the far corner, only for his strike to rattle the bar and bounce to safety!
  • 56'
Another Gunnarsson long throw is seen off by Brighton as Sean Morrison is left needing treatment for the second time today.
  • 53'

  • 45'
HT: Cardiff 1-1 Brighton. All square at the break here! Lewis Dunk gave the visitors an early lead, only for Callum Paterson to drag the hosts back into the game just before the half-hour mark. A reckless challenge from Dale Stephens saw Brighton reduced to 10 men, giving Cardiff a great chance to claim only their second Premier League win of the season.
  • 45'
Murphy cuts in on his right foot and blazes an effort into the back of the stand. That should be that for the first period.
  • 45'
Dunk once again attacks a free-kick at the far post, but he is unable to make anything of it this time.
  • 45'

GOAL! CARDIFF! PATERSON! 1-1! More than a hint of fortune, but the hosts will take it! Kadeem Harris bursts into the box with a mazy dribble before crossing. With the situation seemingly under control, the delivery nicks off Bong at the near post and loops over the head of the two covering defenders to give Paterson a simple header from barely two yards. Parity restored!
  • 27'
Bong drives the the byline down the left and pulls the ball back for Murray, but he can't really wrap his foot around the ball and his deflected effort is easy for Etheridge.
  • 24'
This game is looking like it will be decided by dead-balls as Camarasa's delivery from out on the left is scrambled away by Brighton.
  • 22'
Kayal hauls Camarasa to the floor. The game is getting somewhat bitty now as both sides look to disrupt the rhythm of the clash.
  • 19'
March swings a ball from the left into a good area, but no one has gambled and his delivery flashes across the face of the six-yard box.
  • 16'

GOAL! BRIGHTON! DUNK! 1-0! Simple! A free-kick from March out on the left is swung in to the back post where Bamba has lost Dunk and he celebrates his England call-up by planting a header back across Etheridge and into the far corner. Disastrous start from Cardiff.
  • 5'
Murphy gets a chance to cross from out of the left after being well found, but his ball in is seen off at the near post by Dunk and Aaron Gunnarsson's long throw bounces straight through to Ryan.
  • 3'
Cardiff are showing they're not shy of going direct in the opening exchanges, but you'd fancy Lewis Dunk and Shane Duffy to deal with the lion's share in the air.

DID YOU KNOW? Brighton have managed just one win in their last 19 Premier League away games (W1, D5, L13).

DID YOU KNOW? This contest will be Neil Warnock's 100th match in charge of the 'Bluebirds'.

DID YOU KNOW? Brighton have lost just one of their last 11 league matches against Cardiff City (W3, D7, L1).

Here's how these two sides have fared recently coming into this one:

A couple of changes for the visitors as well as Martín Montoya is in for veteran Bruno Saltor at right-back, whilst Anthony Knockaert replaces Alireza Jahanbakhsh on the right flank.
  • PRVW
BRIGHTON: Ryan; Montoya, Duffy, Dunk, Bong; Knockaert, Stephens, Kayal, Izquierdo; March; Murray. Subs: Steele, Balogun, Bernardo, Bruno, Bissouma, Andone, Gyokeres.
  • PRVW
The hosts make three changes from their narrow defeat to Leicester last time out as Greg Cunningham, Joe Ralls and Kadeem Harris come in for Joe Bennett, Harry Arter and Bobby Reid.
  • PRVW
CARDIFF: Etheridge; Ecuele Manga, Morrison, Bamba, Cunningham; Gunnarsson, Ralls; Harris, Camarasa, Murphy; Paterson. Subs: Smithies, Peltier, Bennett, Ward, Reid, Damour, Hoilett.

Cardiff City Stadium will play host to this one today and it's fair to say the pitch looks immaculate:
  • PRVW
Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock on his opposite number: “He’s underrated, Chris (Hughton). His achievements speak for themselves and sometimes you’ve got to be careful what you wish for. Newcastle were in a super position when they got rid of him. He’s bad for us as managers. He’s so nice. I think as a team we’ve improved nearly every game since the Bournemouth game and we’ve played far more football than people give us credit for, but it’s about getting the balance."
  • PRVW
Brighton manager Chris Hughton on his team's chances in the game: “We know them quite well as a team, and their level of performance this season has been relatively good on the whole despite the results. They’re at home and they’ll have good backing from the crowd, so our approach is exactly the same as any other away game – but every game is an opportunity for us.”
  • PRVW
Brighton, meanwhile, have started the season in solid, if unspectacular fashion. 14 points from 11 games sees them sit in 12th, but a win here will see them move into the top half, at least until the teams around them play later today and in the coming days.
  • PRVW
The hosts go into this one in bad need of a win, having claimed just one in their 11 league games of the season so far. A haul of just five points sees them sit second bottom with just five points, with only goal difference preventing them from propping up the division.
