Levante, who have five games ahead of them to cut the six-point gap to escape from the relegation zone, have gone almost two years without back-to-back wins in La Liga.
The team coached by Alessio Lisci is second last in the standings with 25 points and is the La Liga team that has won the fewest games so far this season with just five victories.
They have achieved all of them in 2022, but they have been unable to find the consistency that would allow them to escape from the relegation zone. If they do not remedy in this business end of the season they will complete two consecutive seasons without winning two games in a row.
Curiously, it was on the last two matchdays of the 19-20 season, which were played in July 2010 due to the pandemic. Already saved, Paco López's Levante beat Celta 2-3 in Vigo on 16 July and just three days later beat Getafe 1-0 at home.
Since then, Levante have also only managed fourteen wins in La Liga and broke the record in La Liga history by going 27 games without a win between April 2021 and January 2022.
